EVENTS AT SEAQUARIUM RHYL…

YUCK WEEK!

Saturday 15 July 2017 - Sunday 23 July 2017

SeaQuarium Rhyl is running a special event from 15th - 23rd July, dedicated to some of the animal world’s most weird and wonderful, but misunderstood creatures, including eels, anemones, jellyfish, octopus and creepy crawlies.

As well as finding out all the frightful facts and horrible habits of the animals that live in our seas and on land, there will also be the opportunity to get ‘yucky and mucky’ with a series of hands-on experiments.

Don’t miss the chance to meet a selection of creepy-crawlies in our special ‘Yucky Animal Encounters’, where you can find out all about some strange behaviours and those feeling brave may even chance to get even closer, under the expert supervision of our aquarists.

You’ll also be able to find out how to make your very own slime in special ‘Yuck Workshops’ and see what different creatures feel like with special ‘touchy-feely’ boxes. Additionally, you can attend extra talks and demonstrations about how some truly weird adaptations are vital to helping animals survive.
